My First Week in San Francisco

I have been in San Francisco for five days and have only managed to get lost once out riding and once driving so that is pretty good for me!  I have joined in with a couple of different masters squads and everyone has been very friendly and welcoming.

There is a little different feel up here compared to San Diego, but I can't find the words yet to describe it. Just thing it will take some getting used to.

It has been great to have Tyler Stewart and her  husband Johnny show us around a little.  We jumped on trampolines at House of Air, and she also had me join in a Computrainer class at Velo SF in the city.  It is nice to have new training grounds to explore and people to meet but I do miss my friends in San Diego and surfing/paddling. I know I can do it up here but it is a little to cold for this warm blooded animal!  I know I will make friends up here but just have to give it time...it's only been  five days and I haven't been out much to socialize as I have been unpacking.

Kaisley is loving the trails up here and has been great during the entire move. She particularly likes the neighborhood cats, deer, rabbits, and squirrels.

Jeff is busy with his new job and is loving it which is great to see. So back to my weekend chores of unpacking a few more boxes, and eager for anyone who wants to come visit us!! I promise to have the spare bedroom ready!

A nice day for a road trip…

Today has been a mix of emotion , left early in the am for San Francisco. Its been fun, I like to drive, Jeff is always great company, and Kaise is our back seat driver. Snapped a few photos along the way. Only one wrong turn so far. Cant wait to see the house Jeff has picked out for us to live in. I think I am going to like San Francisco.  As long as there is water around me, good trails to run on, and my friends come visit me, I am happy wherever I am. Am sure San Francisco won’t disappoint me!! Jeff has said the city is beautiful along with the people he has met so far. His new job is keeping him busy, so I cant wait to see for myself. Are you ready for me San Fran?

Onward to San Francisco

Well, this is our last weekend in San Diego...we have packed it up and heading to the big city of San Franciso. So excited but nervous for another chapter in our lives. Out to dinner tonight with good friends, camping on our living room floor for the next two nights, as what I call the "Removalist" have our house packed and ready to go.
